I have a passion for working with people in their self-healing and as a guide for learning to listen to, and integrate with, one’s higher self. My goal is that every person I work with is empowered and acknowledged, and an active participant in their own healing journey.
Since a very young age, I have been working with all types of spiritual beings and energy. In early grade school I read Michael Harner’s The Way of the Shaman and many of my experiences began to make more sense. I worked with the information in his book (in addition to working with my spirit guides and helping spirits) to understand, practice, and grow my abilities. Later I became a practicing Certified Master of Usui Shiki Ryoho and I received formal training in CORE Shamanism, Compassionate Depossession, and Curse Unraveling. My strengths include psychopomp work, depossession, soul retrieval, and energy healing. I am very comfortable with situations, questions, and energies that others might find too unusual, strange, dark, or uncomfortable.
In 2016 I came across the amazing field of Death Doula, or End of Life Guide, while I was working for a Cemetery and Funeral Home. I served families and individuals in both pre-planning and at-need situations. My work included being a sexton and a funeral attendant/assistant. I realized that I am very comfortable around death and am able to hold space for the people with whom I worked, and to meet them where they are at in a respectful and present manner. I actively pursued training and education to be able to assist individuals in their dying, so that they may have the best quality of life right up unto their death. I believe that dying is a normal experience of life and that through education and open conversation, we can demystify and destigmatize death and the death experience, and that through honor, integrity, and respect, we can bring dignity to death.
I have always been a “freak”. I have been misunderstood, made to feel crazy, shamed, feared, and bullied by those closest to me as well as by strangers. Why am I sharing this? Because like so many, I know what it means to be different. I know what it means to be ostracized. I know what it means to struggle to walk in your truth. I know the pain and the strength it takes to show up every day. I also know what it means to experience things outside of the standard, or normalized convention of spiritual experience. That is why I’m so passionate about my work. I want others to know that they truly can be accepted and supported on their journeys. I want people to know, when they think that they are experiencing something that no one else could understand, that there is someone who will show up, without judgment, and listen with an open heart.
I am happy to answer any questions that you may have about me, my experience, or the work that I do. I believe in respect, honesty, transparency, and integrity. Contact me.

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is on a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.”…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
